Design Thinking, Problem Solving and Critical Thinking are three fundamental work skills that are increasingly becoming more necessary as workplaces evolve and technology evolution becomes more rapid.
The Workplace of Today and Tomorrow is very different. Those that will be successful regardless of industry and job role will be those that are able to identify problems and find solutions, thinking out of the box.
Our Young Entrepreneur and Innovator Program is an interactive program exploring design, critical thinking, and business model and ideation tools. Teams work in groups to come up with new ideas and pitch these in a shark tank like a forum.
This program can be run over a term as a PD program in the year 10, 11 and 12. Students can complete a nationally recognised micro-credential – BSBSS00089 – Workplace Innovation Skillset and receive a unit of competency that can be applied to their QCE.
